Laura Lapinsohn Reale
President
Philly Samples, LLC was officially launched in 2008 by Laura Lapinsohn Reale. Laura has been working with a national dairy products company for nine years, handling all their events and samplings in the region. With this unique knowledge of sampling, Laura decided to start her own company and share what she knows.
Laura has run a successful PR agency for 13 years, after experience with some of the largest advertising and PR firms in the Philadelphia area. As President of Reale Public Relations, Laura has handled public relations, event coordination and marketing recommendations for clients including: the Chestnut Hill Business Association; Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association; Night Kitchen Bakery; The Philadelphia Academies, Inc.; Singularity Design; Viking Culinary Arts Center; Tyco Electronics and more.
Laura was born and raised in South Jersey and attended Friends Select High School in the heart of Philadelphia. She holds a BA from the University of Michigan, where she majored in Journalism, and an MS in Integrated Marketing Communications from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
Sharon Buckingham
Director of Operations
Sharon, a recovering former corporate lawyer, handles employee relations and training and assists with event logistics at Philly Samples. Sharon has worked as a Capitol Hill legislative correspondent and as a litigator at a major Philadelphia law firm. She taught at Villanova University School of Law, and she has provided her services as a writing consultant to young lawyers.
As an administrator, she has many years of experience running corporate hiring and training programs. In addition to her legal, teaching, and administrative experience, she is a seasoned product ambassador and public relations representative.
Sharon was born and raised in Philadelphia. She holds a BA from Swarthmore College, where she majored in Political Science with a concentration in Public Policy, and a JD from the Villanova University School of Law.
Deanna Segrave-Daly, RD, LDN
Media Spokesperson
Deanna is an experienced communications consultant and “food loving” registered dietitian specializing in food, nutrition and culinary projects. She has over 11 years of experience working with TV, radio, print and Internet media.
Deanna has conducted hundreds of interviews locally and nationally on a variety of topics including healthy cooking/recipe tips, family meals, child and adolescent nutrition, food safety, weight management, and school and sports nutrition. She is also a skilled public speaker and culinary demonstrator specializing in interactive food and recipe presentations.
Whether it’s a live TV spot, a written article or a trade show appearance, Deanna can deliver your key messages, highlight unique and practical tips, and make your product unforgettable to consumers.
